EHCP About Me Section

Hello

My son is nearly 3 and I'm trying to complete the about me section for the assessment. I'm finding it a bit overwhelming to be honest!

I've filled the parents bit easily but the 'child's view' I'm having to write on behalf of my son but finding I'm just repeating everything I wrote in the parents bit! So seems a bit of a pointless exercise at his age unless I'm missing something.

I can't seem to find any help or guidance for this specific section. Hoping those that have already been through it may be able to help. Am I overthinking this?

Hi Blossom. You've probably submitted the form by now I've just seen your post. Please don't stress as they won't be expecting much if any input from a child of your DS's age. DD is 14 and hates filling these in as part of her ECHP review as she struggles with thinkng about what to write.
