Well after my rather depressed posts of the last few days we had a great day today. Whole extended family went on a canal trip - DS2 loved it! The man driving (piloting ??) the barge does regular trips with the local special school (not DS's) and was really good with DS2 - let him sit on the barge roof which he loved because of the vibrations. DS2 is starting to bond with my sister and her children (11 and 15)which is lovely as he's never taken much notice of them before.Also my 11 yr old nephew plays really well with DS1, which is great too, as DS1 doesn't get that with his brother, so misses out a bit.
