Autism diagnosis and DLA

I applied for dla but didn't have a diagnosis of autism. I got middle rate care her renewal is due soon i have her diagnosis letter from the hospital do i just send that along with filling the form out she has adhd and a sleep disorder. I home school my daughter so theres no reports or anything but my care which is very difficult. Has anyone else's child been diagnosed with Autism and adhd who get the higher rate care?

They don't take much notice of the diagnosis, but it won't hurt to send a copy (not the original) of the report at renewal.

You will only get the Higher rate if your DD needs care at night. My DD has had DLA since age 7 and is now 13. We are currently getting HRC due to night issues but didn't prior to our last renewal. Use the cerebra guide for help in completing the form, since you really have to spell it out for them.

She has difficulty sleeping at night i think i got it awarded because of her care needs throughout the night. She only sleeps afew hours then shes awake trying to be dangerous she once dragged her brother out of bed i also got a 3 bed priority because she was keeping my youngest awake.
