Coping with noise in house - power tools!?

Any tips pls? Dd ASD hates the noise and we have held off - obviously at home now and we have lots that is in need of repair or work, after moving into new home. I appreciate its v hard for her but we are pretty much unable to do anything 😬

Ear defenders? Ds uses them when i am hoovering and in school when it's particularly noisey.

She won’t use them unfortunately - only when out and about

It's really hard. Breaking down the jobs into smaller bits of work. Anything non essential may have to wait till the lockdown is eased/ schools reopen.

@Blossom4538 💐 It is really hard but until lockdown is over/ schools open then you may be a bit stuck. Do you have a partner?
Could one of you take your daughter out for a long walk while the other do some noisy jobs?
