DS Starts School Today

The day has arrived, we are taking him in at 11.30 this morning.
he was tearful last night, he keeps saying about being bullied at his last school,we,ve done our best to reassure him, but i know he will be fine, this is an excellent school and the headteacher has told me the first thing they are going to do is work on helping him understand that this school is a place for him to feel secure and build up some trust.

2 years, its gone so quick (well some times it hasnt) but he,s finally going to the right school to meet all his needs, i feel very emotional today and doing my damndest not to show him.

he was so happy when he came home, he has made some friends and he even ate brown bread
his teacher phoned me and said he,s charming and that he was enthusiastic and she,s really pleased with him.
smiles all around in the jenk household tonight.

Great news Jenk. Sometimes I think the worrying about it is worse than the doing it
