I remember the little boy Hamish, the boy with dwarfism, from last time this was on, but I will obviously watch it with different eyes now that I have ds! Would love to see repeats of the old programmes actually!

The Daily Mail TV section made a disparrging comment about Shelbie's mum's determination to keep her alive. Made me cross.

Just how brilliant was William with his little sister- wonderful stuff

Those little children were absolute angels from heaven. I was sobbing like a baby by the end of it, but smiling at the same time through admiration for them and their parents. What about the little girl who was doubly incontinent (can't remember her name) and how very brave she was about coming to terms with her operation. Puts us adults to damn shame!!
