This afternoon, we went to the playground (a daily activity - dd1's favourite thing). She wanted to go on the roundabout - a great breakthrough as she's always given it a wide berth. So I parked up dd2's buggy, and off we went. Spinning round and round, and I said "say hello to dd2", "give dd2 a wave" etc, as you do really. And blow me, dd2 waved back. Yay for dd2. She's 28 weeks. And the pure joy was tainted by the fact that she has started that horrible process of overtaking dd1 (3).
And also marred by me being overjoyed that she was imitating, and therefore showing signs of not being ASD. I do feel horribly guilty about not wanting dd2 to be like my gorgeous, cheeky, dd1.
