I have an academic Year 10 boy at a very academic day school. However he has ADHD and OCD and finds getting to school on time, getting homework done etc difficult. I'm wondering whether the strucutre of boarding school migth be better for him. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Are you thinking mainstream? If so, he'd need to be much more independent than similar aged children living in the family home. There may be matrons and house masters/mistresses about, but no one would remind him to clean his teeth, wash his hair or change his socks. My first thought is that it would massively add to his mental load, rather than the reverse. Of course if you mean specialist schools, that's a bit different.

How does his OCD manifest at the moment?

It might be tricky moving him at this stage in year 10 when he is halfway through his gcse studies, it's unlikely his subjects would fit the timetabling in a different school. How does he feel about his current school?
