My 4 year old is struggling to sit still at school, he's also wondered off (only to the school hall a few times) and generally won't do as he's told quite often they've told me. It's been a really unsettled few months since he started school. None of us have enjoyed it including the teacher who does not seem to have bonded with my son. Anyway the school have fast tracked an appointment and assessment with an educational psychologist but I have no idea what to expect at the discussion with him. Anyone been through this?

Here’s an article on what is likely to happen:

They will want to meet with you and it is an opportunity for you to discuss all your concerns with them and to give them a more rounded view of your child, when coupled with information from the teachers.

Did you have any concerns before he stated school? If so then take a written list with you so you don’t forget anything.
