Hi all, my son has just turned 2 , he’s under speech and language who seem to be doing nothing for him , a referral has been made for paediatrics but I know it’s along waiting list.
Here’s a rundown of our story so far , from 1 year old I have been concerned my son is autistic, he doesn’t babble never has done, he has no words at all , very limited understanding of about 3 things, he hand leads to things he wants, he doesn’t play with toys really at all his play is simply walking round on his tip toes with toys in his hand spinning them around. He is Avery fussy eater will not try new foods, and also has started biting us for fun and to get our attention. He is also attached to the tv but only the same programs over and over again.
I really cannot see him ever being verbal or being able to understand I’m so worried 😟 can anyone give me any hope or reassurance?
