I’m kind of a desperate mum here-my DS is 5 and has been on topamax for about 2 years. We have always been a bit meh about it as although it has done a great job with his seizures (diagnosed at 18months) he seemed to develop other traits whilst on it.
Anyway, he’s now being weaned off over 4 months as been seizure free over a year (yay!
). But his behaviour is all over the show-super emotional, aggressive, not able to concentrate and his thinking and processing time is really slowed up.
Does anyone else have any experience of topamax and how it makes you feel or your LO??
