Hi there,
My son is 16 and recently had a diagnosis of inattentive ADD, He tried some medication Prescribed by a child psychiatrist that he took every 4 hours during school time to help with his concentration but he experienced too many side effects with it (Methylphenidate) it’s been suggested he should now try Atmoxetine, does anyone have any experience with teenagers taking this? I’m worried that he’s due to take GCSEs soon and this medication takes about 3 months to kick in, does anyone have any suggestions of anything else I can do to support him, so what’s tried and tested and worked so diet and techniques, anything really. Thank you
