Hi

I am not really sure if my message goes here or in another category. However please do let me know if I should move it.

So my son has been undergoing retained reflex therapy for the past 4 months for sever speech delay and following instructions. We had him assessed with nuro developmental consultant at Portland hospital who said sever speech delay mild cognitive. The progress he has had is massive and his teachers are amazed. So that’s all going good and although the toad is long as it’s not a quick fix we are happy.

However, I am told that retailed reflexes can be genetic so I went for an assessment more as I was really curious to see what my child was experiencing and also what they would say: so I am told I too have retained reflexes and the person described me to a T! Amazing! I started therapy.... but I am wondering has anyone else done it as an adult that would be happy to chat to me about their experience.

Thanks so much

Beware! Retained reflex therapy is pseudoscientific quackery. Here's some background reading: sciencebasedmedicine.org/reflex-integration-therapy/
Sorry that's not what you wanted to hear.
Also, this is probably the wrong category, but I'm not sure what the right one would be.
