Understanding Motor Skills Result

Hi there,
This is probably a stupid question, but my DS7 gross motor skills are in the 9th percentile.
I don't know what this actually means?

We are in talks with school for classroom intervention plans, hand writing support etc. Suspected dyspraxia.

I believe it means that 91% of children would have achieved a higher result. 50% is likely the average score with a typical range above and below that.

Hopefully someone will correct if that’s not right.

Thanks that's how I interpreted it, DH thought the reverse.

Logically if that were the case you wouldn’t need these interventions. Good FMS need strength and stability in the shoulders, arms and core.

Hopefully the school will put the required interventions in place. Does the report have recommendations?
