I have completed the DLA form and will be sending it off this week. The carers component, I don't think we will get as both me and his dad work F/T around school. I have been looking at places we would like to take DS and they state that carers get in free with someone receiving DLA. Does this mean that I don't necessarily need to be getting carers allowance? Obviously I have no qualms in paying to take DS anywhere and will happily pay for my ticket but this has me slightly confused.
