Hi everyone, I'm new to mumsnet so I hope this is the correct place to post this. My 7 year old ds has had a neps assessment In school and the report came back with a high probability for adhd , we are still waiting on official diagnosis from cahms but to me its pretty obvious he has adhd.
He is a great kid, not disruptive in school, his teacher tells me he is very well behaved, he just gets frustrated and acts on impulses and is very emotional.
So i would love to hear words of wisdom from people with experience as its kind of new to me. Things that helped or things you wish you did or knew sooner.
