I have been browsing net all-time to understand ASD and person abilities. I read in many writeups that language will be the main down issue. So now I am worried how my child will pickup English language if he is diagnosed asd. We don't speak English at our home. Any nonenglish speaking family here. How your child picked up English language.

@Bpeep that is not the case, autism is not a speech disorder (language is not relevant) - some people with autism are non-verbal, others struggle with language but are verbal, others have normal speech abilities, and some even have advance speech abilities in multiple languages. Autism may or may not affect language ability...
