pyridoxine given for fits is this normal?

they gaven dd 100mg per day hoping to solve her fits its a vit b does it work

Hi Trace. There's a type of seizure caused by B6 deficiency so they are obviusly hoping. We tried it at first but DD turned out to have infantile spasms and B6 doesn't work for that. There's only 2 drugs that do.
B6 should work pretty quickly if thats the problem and they should doa B6 challenge while she's hooked upt o an EEG machine.
They given you any ideas yet?

hi dd had eeg fitted 4, 24 hours today, she was so worked up she had just as they finished puting probes on! then came back to barnsley to be videoed if she as a fit well she as had a few staires up to now but we hope they pick it up as one of probes came off and nurse at barnsley just put it back on ( hope its in write place) she goes back tomorrow for them taking off.
