Community peads appointment tomorrow

Hi,

I have a community peadiatrics appointment for my 5 year old tomorrow. She has been under them since the age of 2 and I'm at the stage of sheer frustration that we have no answers.

I have written a 2 month daily diary, how her meltdowns develop and a list of general concerns.

I desperately need her to be accepted by the CDC from community peads as the comm pead has twice tried to refer her over.

Is there any advice on how to actually start making progress?

You’re doing everything right but it’s such a laborious process. My only advice is to make sure your dd’s teacher, school SENCO, anyone else like SALT are all backing up what you say in their documentation to create a rounded picture of the issues your daughter is facing on a daily basis.

It’s incredibly tough but it sounds like you’re being really proactive.
