So up until a month ago our little boy who has an asc diagnosis and global developmental delay was able to go up the ladder at nursery to get onto the slide, nursery have told me over the last month he is no longer able to do this, he will lead his one to one to the slide but can no longer physically climb it, she has tried placing his feet on the steps but he can't seem to figure out how to do it. I'm really confused and worried about this. He has never been able to do actual stairs this is mure of a slanted ladder at nursery. Any ideas or advice would be amazing x

Could you talk to your HV or paediatrician about this? It must be worrying for you and talking to a HP could help to set your mind at ease or understand what’s going on?

Progress is not linear sometimes some things go back a bit to accelerate in others. Action your concerns with OT but dont stress please. I have seen it with my boy with many things.
