Dear all...
I would like to share this positive experience if a mother whose son improved through:
Primitive Reflex Therapy for Autism.
....
It is linked to the very early childhood motor skills...
crawling and creeping build up neurological connections in the brain. If a child skips a stage or doesn’t do it correctly ( strange crawl or lack of toe dig) it can indeed be an indication something isn’t right. I’m not saying if you don’t crawl you’ll be autistic - just that if you later present its worth checking primitive reflexes as with patterning exercises they can be inhibited and this has an impact on neurology. Declan started at 75% retained and went down to 28%. Most people have one or two not inhibited but when u get up to 3/4/5 it can have a drastic effect on sensory, communication, learning, social, gross, fine etc. Just one of the areas that really helped us. He lost his gated run, developed cross body pattern, improved social awareness, visual processing and anxiety.
