Hi all,

How have your girls coped with puberty and particularly managing their periods? How old were they, when they began.

Dd is developing very early.

Thanks!

Now that my son has been diagnosed, I realize he is similar to me and I most likely have HFA. I started my period at 9. I coped just fine though I was one of two girl who had it that young so I did get mad fun of slightly.

Have you seen Robyn Stewards book on periods? It's supposed to be VG.

My recently turned 11yo doesn’t have her period yet, but has had public and u detain hair for about 2 years. I also have a 12 yo. She has more body hair than her. 12yo has no underarm hair yet!

She’s not coped with it v well tbh, and is conscious of her under arm hair and occasionally shaved it without my knowledge. I’m worried about her getting her period because she still cannot wipe her bum. Despite being HF, she smears faeces also, so we have no idea how it will all go. She has started wearing a crop top now, more to fit in. We are lucky to have an older (NT) sister who is a bit like a social story when it comes to puberty ... in real life!

Thank you. I have a feeling it’s all arriving early!
