My son is bearly 5 and still non.verbal...
I sm veeery worried...:(
He understsnds quite well... we started ABA last winter...and he is off nappies...does o some of the self care skills...etc...
But we can never make him.vocalise....
He
makes sounds but just stimming sound with consonants
N.. T....Aaaaa..G....K...L...
Tiaaaaa tiaaa....niaaaa niaaaaa
He does not pronounce F or M...Or w...
He cannit blow a candle..
I thought at some point he might have apraxia in his lips as he cannot kiss...he only put his lips but can never squeeze release...
Recently i am thinking he might havd breathing problem as he uses his nose to blow a candle...and cannot drink using a straw....
I am taking him to GP to.make a referral to check his breathing...
Do u have any idea please?
