chewable pens

Is there such a thing as a chewable pen rather than a topper? My son doesn't want to look different to anyone but chews up a biro each lesson. He also chews his fingers so they all bleed down to past the knuckles - if there are any suggestions for that too. Thanks

DD2 will chew anything.

It might be worth contacting Chewigem to see if they know of anything (the closest I can see on their website is pencil covers and pencil cases... Could be worth a look too?)

When I was a child I used to chew / eat pens. Back then there were pens made of corn starch, the outer tube was edable and non toxic. I've no idea if you can still source them but at least now you know what to search for.
