How many in family with ASD?

Just wondering how many siblings have a diagnosis?

My eldest two children were diagnosed with ASD at 3 years each. He’s high functioning with anxiety, she’s moderate. Both are very happy kids.

Child no 3 is to be assessed and child no 5 is just beginning his assessment. So if they receive a diagnosis of ASD that’s 4 out of 5.

I’m interested to see how many other families have a few kids with ASD. I hope this doesn’t offend anyone.

I have one DD with ASD, one with severe learning disabilities with autistic features. My children's Dad I feel has ASD but not diagnosed, his cousin has ASD and also one of his cousin's children. So a strong familial tendency!

I have 2 children and they both have ASD. When DC2 was diagnosed DH went and had the snip, because we defo couldn't cope with any more!

Three out of 4 siblings here- DS1 NT, DS2 diagnosed at 14, DS3 diagnosed at 10 and DD diagnosed at 8.
