Milk Tokens

Does anyone know where or who i phone about milk tokens? Since my DH's Incapacity benefit was mucked about with and we had to re-apply for Income Support everything has been so up in the air. We dont seem to be getting much more money than we were getting before Cameron was born as we had to apply for childrens tax credit as well as Income support and now we also have found ourselves with no milk tokens for either Callum (nearly 2) and Cameron (5 weeks) I am so sick of being mucked about by these places. I am sure we are meant to be claiming something else but i have no idea what?

Sorry to moan on!

You need to call income support, as they are issued on that money. Bump this up tomorrow and remind me to look up a brilliant helpline, who will go through everything you are entitled to.

Sorry Debs - have been hunting for a fone no. for you in my terribly organised filing system. Havent found it yet but will give it to you if and when I do!!!

BTW, have you had a look into claiming help with health costs too (prescriptions/dental treatment/sight tests etc)?

milk tokens are now given thro child tax credits, not income support. call CTC and say you havent got your tokens. they should sort them out. when they do, they wont send u loads of milk tokens, u get your 4 weeks worth then a cheque for the missing tokens. if they dont help u, phone the milk token unit direct on 0845 8501032

its cameron with the SN isnt it? (trying to remmeber here) he is too young to claim DLA for yet.

HAve you got your housing benefit etc sorted? and child benefit. i think atm thats all you can claim.

misdee · 18/09/2004 09:01

oh and CTC should send you and your dh exemption cards for your perscription/dental costs.
