I am looking for some good books on Verbal Dyspraxia with lots of tips and not to taxing terminology iyswim. If you know of any titles please let me know. TIA>

I'm a salt but no expert on verbal dyspraxia. Try AFASIC and ICAN sites for advice and support.

Don't know one, I'm afraid, but try searching on oromotor dyspraxia as well as I think they're the same?

best place to look is for the US books on apraxia. For example...

if you get the UK books on dyspraxia, they are all about general dyspraxia but not verbal dyspraxia.

this next statement is going to be of no use at all...

DS5 has verbal dyspraxia too (and Autism) so i watch with interest in the hope of something to help/learn.

I agree best books come from the US, via Amazon. But what I have found incredible is that my DS (ASD and verbal dyspraxia) pronounces words MUCH MUCH better and more clearly when he spells them out phonetically. Which seems to suggest that he can SEE how the words are pronounced more easily than he can HEAR it. So "cat" is said "ka" when he is just talking, but "cat" when he is reading it out letter by letter. Strange, huh!
