Ds has suspected apd. He had glue ear when younger but passed his hearing test in sept so was finally seen recently at an apd clinic that found he had hearing loss. Repeated the hearing test today and it was the same. No glue ear and when the audiologist put the device direct on his hearing organ his hearing was normal so there is an issue with his ears. But she said hearing aids would not work. She doesn’t seem to know why things have changed over the past couple of months nor what could be done. Would be very grateful for any paediatric ent referrals in the London area. Thank you.
