Hello everyone,
I'd be really interested in hearing from anyone who has had success with a school implementing aac (particularly high tech aac) particularly if this is your child's only method of communication. I'd also love to hear from anyone who is struggling getting school onboard with using aac in the classroom. Ds is 9 and non verbal. We have had amazing success with proloquo2go at home but school are resistant as they say they don't have the time to model for him, makes my blood boil. His behaviour has improved so much at home as he is able to communicate quite effectively, where as at school he lashes out frequently.
Anyone with similar stories or stories of success would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
