DH and I have decided it's time we took ds and dd abroad next year for 2 weeks. Has anyone got any suggestions of any sn friendly apartments, preferably in Spain please (don't want a long flight!). We want to go self-catering as doubt dd could sit for too long in a hotel restaurant.
Any other advice would ge gratefully received.
We are being very brave but feel that as dd will be nearly 6 I am hoping she will be fine.

A couple of websites were posted on JimJams "remind me not to go on holiday next year" post. I posted one in Spain. Also suggest looking at the ads in SN newsletters or Carers' UK mag.

we have been to lanzorote a few times with the kids, we are off again in nov, four hour flight, but they have a film to watch and i took my sons gameboy, we go self catering, but eat out a lot,
this time we are trying a villa with a pool,
james villas is where we booked this holiday, they seem ok, and were able to answer questions like what sort of entry steps to the pool. give us a shout if you want to know more.

We have stayed on a keycamp site, about 40 mins from Barcelona. It was a caravan though not apartment. It went well although ds3 screamed every night. No one complained so I assume it was fairly sound proof.
I liked the fact that the older boys could wander safely around the site and make friends.
We always self cater and I find it much easier with a sn child.
