DLA and hospital

DD and i have just had 2 days and nights in hospital. We've been in for one night before and not told DLA people but is 2days too much? They take money off don't they? Seems so silly over 2days but don't want to get into trouble. Does anyone know how long u have to have stayed before they need to be told? Sorry if doesn't make much sense am knackered.

Don't worry - the DWP website says this:

If DLA is paid for a child under 16, it will usually stop after the child has been in hospital for 12 weeks.

oh thank you thats reassuring. I just remembered i had to put down the dates she'd been in hospital when i did the claim form. Thats one less thing to worry about anyway!
