My son has been on dla since he was 5, he was diagnosed with autism at age 4,hypotinia and dcd.
He is now 11 and attends a special school.
His dla runs out next month and I submitted his renewal in Oct (10 weeks now ) have had the standard we have received you forms etc and to contact in 8 weeks.
I will be phoning on Monday (thought I'd give a bit of extra time due to christmas).
Slightly worried now as last time it was 2 weeks, just wondered how long others waited for renewals to go through.
