School camp

My son has ADHD and is about to go of to school camp. I have tried to raise issues with the school before he goes such as he doesn't sleep and he will be very different off medication. This has been completely ignored. I think they must think I'm exaggerating. He attends private camps independently in the holiday but they know he can't sleep and let him go into another room and read TIL 2am or 3am until he can. Also he is very different off medication. His new teacher seem to have unrealistic expectations of him I suppose it's because he's very bright that she feels he should know better. She's forgetting he has a disability.

So when I get my call from camp that they're not coping how should I react? I'm tempted to say we I did try to discuss this with you NUMEROUS times I also don't fancy the 8 hour journey to collect either. Anyone been in this situation?
