Dubai suitable for holiday with SEN DC?

I'm thinking of going somewhere hot in Feb half-term and wondering about Dubai, but I'm a bit worried about how intolerant they may be of a child with SEN.

Also worried about reports you can be arrested for drinking on the flight there!

Seriously though, have any of you taken your SEN DC there and was it ok?

Thank you

I’ve been and my ds is 10 with severe asd and learning disabilities. I haven’t got any other abroad destination to compare it to though but I found it good. Eating in restaurants is always tough for my ds so it’s unfair to criticise Dubai for that aspect. I went for a 5 star which was a little too geared up for adults, but I’ve heard hotels like the Atlantis, much more geared up for kids -see a lot more children with additional needs so I’d probably pick that sort of hotel next time.
