Hi all
Our son who's 10 attends a local independent school(funded by lea) we have been advised at annual review that it might be advisable to start looking at senior school now.The reason he goes to independent is because this was the only school locally that could meet the provisions of the ehcp.We have found the senior school that we believe will meet the provisions but its an hour away from us! but happy to make the travel sacrifice if this is the right suchool.
Will the lea try to get us to accept a local school that can't meet his needs? basically just looking for advice from people who have been in similar positions.
