Autism assessment Norfolk

Anyone waiting an autism assessment in Norfolk area? We are under the queen Elizabeth hospital.
If so how long have you been on the waiting list or how long was you on the waiting list before your first appointment. Thanks

You might want to join the Sensational families Facebook group. It’s for parents of children with Sen in Norfolk.

The waiting times are currently very long for diagnosis but they do seem to be diagnosing quite a lot recently who have been waiting some time so they are making their way through the lists.

We got referred by the doctors on 1st August and got a letter back on 8th September stating there is a waiting list of 18 weeks but there are behind and the waiting time is longer. Hope this helps

Spoke to Neurodevelopmental department today they said they couldn't be exact but the wait for 6 and under assessment is quite a bit shorter than the over 6 list
