dd1 had a good swimming lesson today but just lost it when it came time to get out. SHe just started crying hysterically and screaming!!!!
thankfully it is not a public pool - just one for learn to swim and dd1 has one on one lessons - just us and another family.
I managed to get her dressed - just screaming full on - I kept saying calm down, it's okay over and over.
she finally calmed down as we were on the way to the hospital for an ENT appt - nightmare - another story for another day.
Dd2 kept saying she wanted to 'come down' I kept saying yes she could come down to the hospital etc. Finally I worked out she wanted to 'calm down' I told her that only dd1 needed to calm down as she was upset. Dd2 burst into tears as she wanted to be upset!!! I had to try not to laugh. I then had to try and explain that upset meant sad and did she want to be sad!!!
