Velcro closure tops and jackets?

I bought 4yo ds a velcro closing shirt from m&s as he can't manage zips or buttons and he was absolutely delighted to be able to dress himself like his brother.

I'd love to get him some more plus some fleeces and cardies or hoodies and a jacket but I can't find any anywhere.
M&s had jackets but they velcro up the back as well which didn't seem practical for him.

I've done my own before by basically taking the buttons off and then sewing them on over the button holes so it looks fastened and then putting velcro on behind.

I also found that I could get DD2 to manage zips on her coat if I adapted them a bit... if there's any of that fabric overlap that there is on some coats then tack it back out of the way, and then I put a ribbon loop on the bottom at the side of the zip you have to hold down as you pull up for her to hang onto, and another loop on the zip itself to make that easier to hold (I actually use a chewigem chube for that) and she's mastered it with those little tweaks to things.

Magnetic buttons are great, the bigger ones are stronger.
