This sounds too good to be true almost....I was talking with one of my daughters conductors today about potty training. She mentioned that she'd once read an ariticle about a device that you can put into a NAPPY, that plays music/makes a noise when the child wets the nappy....... where can I get one (sounds very american to me)? If anybody knows, would you share the information with me please.

Hi Mulsey - I seem to remember hearing something about this a long time ago. I did a search for musical nappies and then changed it to musical diapers, but nothing came up...the only thing I saw is a musical potty though it's a bit early for that yet eh? Sorry I can't help, but if it can be found you can bet it will be one of our resident whizkids on MN that will find it for you! Good luck. x

I wonder if its something like an eneurisis (sp?)alarm. Its a device with a wire that goes into the nappy/underwear and beeps or makes some sort of noise when it starts to get wet. In theory it wakes the child who then learns to get up and go to the loo/potty. Its supposed to then lead to them doing it without the noise prompt and is supposed to be quite effective. Now, where to get them....... I'd have thought the famous OT/Soc Svs or maybe suppliers of toileting aids for people with disabilties/illness etc. A friend definitely has one as she lent it to me, my DS just ripped it out! I'll ask her when she gets back from hol if you're interested.
