We are in the process of moving my child from mainstream to ICAN Meath school in Chertsey. Any feedback on Meath primary school?
I am very unsure. I visited the school once. The school looked so dead, almost felt like elderly care home. There was no sign of happiness and the whole place felt so boring. The environment was so monotone and if I can say deadly quiet. I visited a class and was unimpressed with what I saw. Although 4 adult were in the class, still out of 8 student 5 of them were completely disconnected from class. Teacher and the rest of people made no attempt to make it more interesting. Teacher was talking about a farm visit and I can personally think of so many different ways to make the subject more engaging. Perhaps standing up would have been a good starting point.
While my observation of the school was not very positive, I hear a lot of good things about the school though none sufficiently specific.
Is there anyone who has had first hand positive or negative experience with the school. I think it is important to say my child is coping perfectly well in MS but we are not happy with the progress and in the recent has been falling behinds the peers.
I would appreciate your view and feedback about ICAN Meath school.

Hi @StarLightAgain, I now this message is a bit old now but I wondered if you ended up sending your child to Meath and if so how it's gone for you? We're currently considering it. Thanks so much!
