So I’ve just seen the gp about concerns I have for my daughter, he’s agreed to refer her to the paediatrician in an attempt to start the pathway but is warned me that our local trust is currently rejecting a lot of cases that aren’t classed as “severe”.
Can they actually do that? My daughter definitely wouldn’t be classed as severe but as she’s getting older things are definitely getting harder and I’m concerned that it will get worse in the future without support.
Has any had to deal with their case being rejected like this, can you keep going back and keep pushing?
