Tribunal Update-please send us positive vibes

tribunal next month on 20 june to try to get DS into an independent specialist school, he,s been out of school since nov 05 and received 2 hours a week home tuition provided by the LEA

so, our LEA have refused to set up a visit/assessment with one of the 2 schools in our area so we wrote (directed by ipsea) to the president of sendist asking what could we do and he has given us 2 letters one for each school asking them would they let him know if there is a place available given DS,s SN.
so ive been given an extention on my case statement until 11 june to get ds asessed by 2 schools.
its a race against time and i dont know if we will get it done considering its half term this week but if we dont have places ther is no case and DS cannot cope with a mainstream primary.
if anyone has been in this situation i would really appreciate your comments/suggestions other than that please send us positive vibes cos it all hangs on this now.

yes i would say that i am like that, ive found it really stressful and cant wait until its over tbh.
i have steeled myself for a negative result and if thats the case then DS will be home edded as he will never make it into high school and he only has a year left.

but if we win, it will be the biggest party ever!!!!!

just phoned one of the schools, they told me they dont necessarily have to see DS to say if there is a place, if i send his statement,dx letters and it fits their admission criteria then they will just say yes on the form !!!!!

oh im so hoping this is the case cos they dont think they have time to asess him before the 20th of june.
