can anyone advise how to get details for a private salt that does asessements?

i want an independent one to asess DD cos her usual slt put her expression as in the normal range then a slt from a charity came and asessed her on thursday and he queried why the nhs salt had her in age appropriate when she,s clearly not.

i thought at the time that the nhs slt findings werent the same as what we see but i just thought she,s the expert and went with that but now with the ed psych playing down dd,s SN i just want to get another independent slt to asess her.

through the ASLTIP website (will google in a mo to get you URL). they list the salts by area, and their particular specialisms. should cost £150 max.

yes i agree...the best place is ASLTIP. I may find one from there in the future. I do think it is good that you are trying to get a second opinion for your dd...i think some proffessionals arent always right. xx
