EHCP and new school

My Ds is in Y6 and moves to 2ndry in Sept. He is HF ASD and after a long fight we have finally got a plan for him (level 3 band) - he was overlooked for so long because he masks at school and was generally keeping up with the work.
My question is that the plan is tailored for his current primary with no mention of 2ndry even though he is leaving in 2 weeks. Does the LA have to revise the plan to take this into account and should I be asking the school what they intend to do to cater for his needs?

Your LA should have amended the EHCP by 15th February to name the new school and update it. If this was a new Plan issued after that date, obviously it doesn't apply but equally obviously it does need to name the new school. You need to contact them immediately to sort that out.
