Ds is 6 and is really struggling to use public toilets due to anxiety over someone using a hand dryer

He’s terrified of the noise but can’t even use an individual disabled toilet now as he can see the hand dryer and is scared

Wondering if ear plugs/ear defenders would help?

I’d like something foldable as he only needs them in a toilet so don’t want anything bulky so I can pop them in my bag

Have a look on shooting sites. There are a lot of in-ear earplugs on cords that no-one would see, e.g.

Or bigger more ordinary looking ones for kids www.edzkidz.co.uk/Products/Ear_Defenders
