Due to cutbacks, our school has stopped offering numeracy and literacy withdrawal support for all children, despite them being on the SEN register and having an IEP with this stated on it as being necessary. I was wondering if anyone can please tell me if this is allowed, can a school choose to stop withdrawal?
Just to clarify, withdrawal was the SENCO working with small groups of children on targeted areas of learning.
