I have a question and am prepared to be wrong about this! Today the childminder who picks my dd (9yo asd) up from school has said the teacher told her that a boy in her year group had said something to her about her boobs. The implication seems to be that I need to address this with dd...however apparently it didn’t faze dd and she does not have much interest in her body parts so far. I am more than prepared to start having talks with her about puberty etc. But kind of feel like shouldn’t the school be tackling this boys attitude towards girls bodies and commenting? I need to ask the childminder the full details of what was said etc. As dd was with her I couldn’t, But can’t help feeling a bit annoyed by this - am I wrong do you think?
