DS age 8 has really suffered for the last few weeks. He has certirizine prescribed by the dr and a nasal spray but his eyes are a mess. He is non verbal and doesn't understand what's happening to him.

We have tried eye drops but he gets so upset.

Just wondering if anyone had any advice or could recommend any fabulous products for us to try.

Ceterazine never worked for me even as a child. Loratidine worked well for me also a becalamethasone nasal spray. But u may need to check with dr. There's a few different types of drug so def worth going back.

Sunglasses are also good if he will tolerate them. The spray you use on closed eyes is good too for soothing eyes - perhaps tolerate better than eye drops

Agree you need to try different medication. There’s 3 of us here with hay fever and we all use different products ... one doesn’t suit us all.

For eye drops - tip head back, close eyes and put drop on closed eyes. When you open your eyes the drops go in! Our lives were made sooo much easier by this method!
