heart swelling with pride....

Just got back from a week away with dh (without dd) to find that dd can now clap her hands. It sounds like such a little thing but I have been sitting opposite her clapping my hands like an idiot for probably over a year, hoping hoping hoping that she would copy. And now she can do it. And she looks so pleased with herself when she does. After a week away my heart nearly burst to see how well she is doing...

Just wanted to share with other mums who will 'get' what this means.

HITC, have to confess I'm not a SN poster but saw this in active conversations and can't resist saying 'well done' to your dd! Bless her.
