Advise please guys xx

My son is 7, he started school refusal beginning of year 2 and has ended up now home educating due to high anxiety and meltdowns. He has been referred to be assessed for adhd and autism since November but still on waiting list. He doesn't sleep and is now refusing to leave the house even go to his dads on the weekend which he has always been excited to go previously. His dad is upset obviously but I can't force him can I? School haven't been in touch or anyone for that matter and his behaviour is becoming worse. What can I do? Docs? I'm lost I've had to finish working because of this situation and can't wait another year to see neuro department 

Hi I'm in exactly the same position. My 7 year old son was refusing to go to school (special needs school) I tried everything!
As of last October I've started home schooling. But now he is refusing to leave the house. He doesn't have his dad around, so we are stuck in the house for weeks at a time. He fights me if I try and get him dressed in to clothes.
His anxiety about leaving the house is getting worse :(
Which also means, I have no adult contact for weeks at a time either.

Thanks glad I'm not alone x I'm the same feel like I'm a prisoner in my own home! Just don't know what to do to help x he used to love his dads now refusing to go there so not even getting that break! Really thinking about a private diagnosis as he doesn't sleep which means I'm awake.
